The Death card symbolises endings, the shedding of old skin so we can emerge and embrace a new beginning. Although these endings could be significant, for example, a divorce, a move or a change in career; the essence of this card is not necessarily negative. We need to let go of the old to make room for the new and by letting go of old situations and notions then we allow transition to come to pass.
